(MARSHALL, Mich) — After two years of reduced days and hours of operation due to the pandemic and the staffing issues it created, Michigan’s iconic Schuler’s Restaurant & Pub is pleased to announce its return to service seven days a week, year-round (excluding Christmas day) beginning Monday, June 12. This date coincides with the opening of The Royal Hotel, Schuler’s new five-room boutique hotel named for the original property that stood at the corner of Eagle and Green, purchased by Albert Schuler in 1924.
“We appreciate our guests understanding that Covid was hard on the restaurant industry in many ways – especially with regard to staffing,” says Sue Damron, Schuler’s President and CEO. “While we are still struggling to fill all positions and recognize that we still must do business differently, we are dedicated to re-establishing the foundation that our business was built upon – providing unparalleled service that our guests can count on and exceeding the hospitality needs of our community.”
For over a century, Schuler’s has been a place not only for families to gather and celebrate, but for generations to serve locals and visitors alike. Opportunities are available for those who align with Schuler’s values and those who have a passion for taking care of people by going above and beyond. Whether looking for part- or full-time, short- or long-term work, Schuler’s offers a variety of experiences from the bakery to the bar and the kitchen to the dining room. If you or someone you know would enjoy being part of the Schuler team, an application can be completed online: Schuler’s Employment Opportunities.
