Schuler’s Restaurant & Pub Announces Reopening Plans

January 23, 2021 – During Governor Whitmer’s press conference yesterday; she released that the MDHHS has issued a new order indicating Michigan restaurants can reopen for limited dining on Monday, February 1st.  We are so excited about this opportunity to serve you again in our dining rooms.  We pledge to continue to do so at a very safe level, with the elevated focus on cleaning and sanitation that the restaurant has provided for many, many years.
Due to the large amount of preparation needed to be done to reopen, of first day of service will be Thursday, February 4th.

Hours of Operationour hours of operation will be 11:30 am – 8:00 pm seven days a week.  (Due to the curfew of 10pm in the order, 8pm will be the last seating, to allow time for guests to enjoy their visit.)

Carry Out & Curbside Pick Upwe will continue to offer carry out and curbside pick up to those of you that prefer to enjoy these services.  Free delivery within Marshall City limits is also available.

Take & Bakeour Take & Bake program will begin again on Super Bowl Sunday, February 7th and will feature a Chicken Fajita Bake.  We’re currently taking orders on our website, so place your order today! Link to order can also be found below.

Valentine’s Daydue to the 25% occupancy, Valentine’s Day will be a little different this year. We will be taking reservations for the Centennial Room, Signature Room, Grille Room, and Winston’s Pub.  As we take reservations, we will be telling our guests what room their seating will be in; Centennial Room and fireplace tables will be limited based on availability and occupancy restrictions. We will begin taking reservations online immediately, and by phone beginning February 3rd.

Monday Nights are Specialon Monday, February 22nd, we will begin offering our Mondays Nights are Special features through the end of March 2021.

Holiday Promotional Gift Cards – Bonus gift cards received during our holiday gift card promotion will be redeemable for the traditional 90 day period, starting February 4, 2021 through Wednesday, May 5, 2021.

Below are the highlights of the new MDHHS order:
  • Indoor dining permitted at 25% capacity
  • Indoor dining must be closed between the hours of 10:00 p.m. – 4:00 a.m.
  • If participating in stationary activities, groups are spaced or seated at least 6 feet apart. If participating in non-stationary activities, groups maintain a consistent 6 feet of distance from other groups at all times
  • Patrons limited to 6 patrons seated at a table
  • All dine-in food service establishments must maintain accurate records of the names and phone numbers of patrons who purchase food for consumption on the premises, and the date and time of entry
*Note: while a restaurant operator is required to ask, they are not required to deny entrance if a guest declines to share this information 
  • Consumption of food or beverages is permitted only in a designated dining area where patrons are seated, groups of patrons are separated by at least six feet, no more than 6 patrons are seated together (at a table, booth, or group of fixed seats), and groups of patrons do not intermingle
  • Patrons are not permitted to gather in common areas in which people can congregate, dance, or otherwise mingle
  • In the event that an employee of a food service establishment is confirmed positive for COVID-19 or shows symptoms of COVID-19 while at work, a gathering at that food service establishment is prohibited until the food service establishment has been deep cleaned consistent with Food and Drug Administration and CDC guidance
  • Food service establishments must prominently display the MDHHS “Dining During COVID-19” brochure
  • Outdoor dining is permitted as long as guests are seated no more than 6 to a table and tables are spaced a minimum of 6 feet apart
  • Indoor gatherings prohibited at non-residential venues, except where no more than 10 persons from no more than 2 households are gathered
  • Outdoor gatherings at non-residential venues limited to 25 or fewer persons gathered at a venue without fixed seating, and attendance is limited to 20 persons per 1,000 square feet, including within any distinct area within the event space
  • Outdoor gatherings at non-residential venues limited to 25 or fewer persons gathered at a venue with fixed seating, and attendance is limited to 20% of seating capacity of the venue
