Over 100 Years of Great Taste.

Schuler's Restaurant & Pub

Great food. FRESH DAILY.

Keeping it Fresh for over 100 Years.

September 18, 2017

At Schuler’s, fresh ingredients aren’t just a priority, they’re a necessity. They serve as inspiration for our dishes and the creation of our menu, like our fall menu updates including a roasted beet salad, autumn orecchiette pasta, and a fall vegetable risotto just to name a few. These locally sourced, garden-fresh ingredients make all the difference in taste and we’re committed to preparing and serving dishes that use exactly that.

To deliver the best products to you and your loved ones, we buy fresh and local. Our soups and salad dressings are made from scratch. Our artisanal breads and crackers are baked daily on the premises, using only natural, high-quality ingredients, and each day, our bakers get up before dawn to create more than 100 loaves of fresh bread and more than 100 pounds of crackers, cookies, rolls, and cakes. We also use the Midwest’s premier fish purveyor that sources only the finest and freshest quality seafood. Making sure that you and your family have access to only the freshest items will always take precedence at Schuler’s.

Classic. Contemporary. And Everything In Between.

While traditions are very important to us at Schuler’s so is staying up to date with current dining trends and ensuring guests enjoy dining with us from generation to generation. Creating fantastic dishes by sourcing the freshest possible ingredients is a source of pride for our staff. Especially in this day and age when dietary conditions and preferences are critical factors in where you choose to eat. Our culinary team is constantly crafting new dishes including gluten-free, vegetarian and lower calorie options. Cultivating an atmosphere that thrives on the Schuler’s heritage and blends in new concepts is something we take very seriously, as is seeking out new sources for fresh, local ingredients. It’s just what we do.

Serving the Best for Over 100 Years

With great food and hospitality being the essential elements to our success, we can promise that the ingredients that go into our dishes are the best of the best. Hans, our third-generation leader, says it best: “We are always looking for something fresh, taking the best of the past and blending it with contemporary trends and tastes. Schuler’s remains dedicated to reinvesting in the business and supporting the community in which we operate.” By focusing on local, fresh ingredients, we’re able to live up to our mission of providing folks with great taste; over 100 years of it.
