Schuler’s Tuscan Wine School took place on March 9th and was a big success! Our guests were greeted by wine experts all the way from Tenuta Torciano Winery and invited to sit down for an evening of exploration and fun!
During this 2-hour tasting school, participants experienced 13 products including exceptional Tuscan wines, olive oils, and even 30-year-old balsamic vinegar. The wines varied from sweeter whites to dry reds and were coupled with specialty Italian meats, cheeses, and breads, helping to bring out the flavors of the wines and complement the tasting.
For many participants, this was their first foray into wine tasting. With wine samples flowing and an expert at the helm to show them the ropes in a relaxing atmosphere, everyone had a lot of fun! True to our heritage, dining is an experience, and our Tuscan Wine School was no exception.
The tasting concluded at 7:30, with many attendees staying on to enjoy a nice dinner together, putting their new-found Tuscan wine knowledge to work.
At Schuler’s we host many wine dinners, beer tastings, and other events throughout the year. These are great opportunities to get together with friends, learn something new, and enjoy some unique food/drink pairings together.
Make sure you attend one of our wine dinners or tastings this year. And if wine isn’t your thing, perhaps one of our beer tastings is more your speed – like our St. Practice Day event that featured Irish ales and Michigan craft brews.
In fact, on March 26th we are hosting an Oberon Release Day party in Winston’s Pub all day long. Swing in to enjoy crisp, fresh Oberon drafts and meal specials, as well as signature Bell’s Brewery swag.
