Two of our fearless leaders, Joe Caron and Elizabeth Birch, along with other members of the management team, had the pleasure of attending the National Restaurant Show earlier this spring in Chicago, IL. They were joined by more than 45,000 people ready to experience everything and anything related to the food service industry.
The best part of the show was the new and inspiring presentations, vendors, and classes that continually support Schuler’s culinary team to remain on the cusp of food innovation for our guests. Attendees have a chance to try new dishes, make new and interesting cocktails, test out high-tech equipment, and network with other industry leaders. This helps all of us gain valuable insights, that can be brought back to our restaurant and more importantly, to our guests!
Joe and Elizabeth attended many cocktail and beverage classes and are excited to expand the craft cocktail selection and options for restaurant and pub guests. They also had the chance to research several new catering supplies and materials, with the goal of improving Schuler’s event catering and coordinating capabilities.
Events such as the NRA help restaurant owners reimagine their menus, atmosphere, customer service, and more. They help industry leaders view food service through a new lens; here, Joe and Elizabeth were able to interact with renowned chefs, try new ingredients, and better understand the shifting trends and best practices.
For Schuler’s, shows and conferences just like this one keep us 109 years young. We know that our guests expect and appreciate the unique flavors and menu curations we bring to the table. That, coupled with our traditional focus on exceptional customer service, is what keeps them coming back for more.
We can’t wait to share what we learned at the National Restaurant Show with all our friends and guests. Stayed tuned for some fresh menu additions and fun, funky cocktails!
