This weekend, be sure to take advantage of the Historic Marshall Home Tour. This annual home tour is one of the most popular in the Midwest – and the longest running!
Marshall’s proud legacy of preservation is highlighted this year including:
With free parking both downtown and at the Calhoun County Fairgrounds (along with free shuttle buses) this event is a must-do. But that’s not all. If you consider yourself a local history buff, this excursion, coupled with lunch or dinner at Schuler’s Restaurant, makes for the perfect weekend pairing.
Local Marshall history is near and dear to our hearts – and it should be. Schuler’s has been family owned and operated since 1909, and our own story is very much intertwined with the town we call home. We are part of the 3%; that’s the percentage of family businesses that survive past the fourth-generation, and owe that resiliency to both our ability to build a 100-year old tradition of fine dining and the vibrant community that surrounds us.
Our roots run deep, and before you come to visit this weekend, take a moment to learn the history behind Schuler’s Restaurant and our evolution both as a family and a business. Don’t worry, we did the research already. (We’re history buffs too!)
The Historic Marshall Home Tour will be open September 9th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.and 10th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., tickets are only $20.00 for the weekend and children 12 and under are free!
Remember, as you soak in the history of our beloved hometown, stop by to relax in the comfortable setting of this iconic restaurant. Enjoy fresh new flavors from our fall menu – always prepared with local produce and ingredients – and experience history firsthand at Schuler’s.
We are open during regular business hours this weekend and can’t wait to share our story with you!
